My secret ingredient…..GARLIC SALT!!
So, last week I was 35 weeks prego and craving guacamole like a crazy prego woman. We went to a yummy Mexican restaurant, but the guac was bland and didn’t quite fulfill my craving. So, my avocados finally ripened this week and I wanted to share with you my lil recipe that’s a crowd pleaser!
-1 small diced tomato
-1/3 – 1/2 red onion (add more or less depending on how you like it)
-juice of 1 lime
-3/4 tsp garlic salt (add more depending on taste) MY SECRET INGREDIENT
-cilantro (add 2 tsb chopped if you love that flavor)
-mix and mash with a fork, I like it a little chunky
Funny story – my friend/photographer Jen utterly despises cilantro, it tastes like soap to her and will ruin any meal it’s in. The smell alone during this shoot was almost enough to put her over the edge, haha. So, add it if you like it…but it tastes perfectly awesome without it.
