These canisters were in my grandmothers kitchen growing up, my faves!!
Peonies are my absolute fave and this new vase is amazing, linking it below!
I love this kitchen stand. It’s big enough for two toddlers to “help” you in the kitchen.
I wish I could say my kitchen looked like this 24/7. I have two toddlers and a hubby, so I think we all know it took me about 4 hours to get all of the clutter put away, hahaha. This blog post actually came at a good time because it forced me to get my bowl of junk sorted and put away before baby #3 arrives. When we bought our house, we found it when it was about 80% complete. I was able to pick the lighting and the finishes, which was a dream come true. The cabinets were already chosen, otherwise I probably would have done a different hood. I had a great sea grass rug under my table which made the whole space feel really cozy, but my toddler ruined that for me. She is two years old and we’re still working on the concept of keeping our food on our plate… In case you are interested in some of these items, here are some links!

Hi!
I love your blog!!! I feel like we are on the same wave length! Can you tell me where you got your kitchen table, chairs and sunburst mirror?
Thanks and keep up the Great work!!!
Hey Jessica, thanks for following along! My table is from Ballard Designs and so is the mirror, although I purchased it many years ago. The chairs are from this great antique vendor at Scott’s Antique Market and they are there every month! I will try and dig up their business card…I stashed it somewhere!!
Ok I found their page on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/MaisonDeFranceAntiques/ The fabric you see them covered in on my blog is the standard fabric they use. I liked it because it matched my existing chairs and worked for me! You can call them ahead of time and reserve a set either already re-covered OR you can purchase as is and have them redone yourself!
Hey Jess- where did you get you island chairs?
I’m loving the blog!
Hey Katie! So these are actually from Ballards Backroom and I had them recovered in a white pleather because we are not ready for leather or nice upholstery for toddlers to eat on yet. The middle chair actually has a nice ink drawing on it from one of my kids, ugh! They obviously have them new on their website and they have a TON of fabrics to choose from! -J
I love the light fixture over your table. Where is it from?
You can get it at Restoration Hardware 😉
Gorgeous kitchen! What is that style of rug again and where did you get it? Xo
It’s an oushak and Matt had it before we got married. Just google that type of rug dealer in your area, they are my fave! We have one in our front entry hall and bedroom. I hope to switch out our dining room rug from Persian to oushak at some point….but that’s at the bottom of my list!
I’d love to know where to get the pendant lights over your island?!
They are by visual comfort, if you can’t find them let me know and I can sell some to you 😉 I have an acct with them!
Where are your kitchen & dining rooom light fixtures from! Absolutely love them!
Visual Comfort is the brand, I have an account and can price them out for you if you can’t find them! Lighting is my my fave thing!! -Jess
