My Workout Plan





I am officially 10 weeks postpartum and it’s time to get serious about losing the last of the baby weight. I bought my Peloton bike back in January, but my belly was too big to get aggressive with it.   So now I’m dusting it off and getting back at it.  I love going to workout classes like Flywheel, Flybarre and Pure Barre, etc.   However, with three little kids the time I spend driving to and from the exercise place I could use for a nap or straightening up my house.  Plus, I was always stressed out about trying to find a time that worked for me and then being late for the class was always inevitable…especially as a nursing mom.

SO, I decided to take the stress out of my day and buy this contraption.  I LOVE it!  I have my bike in my bathroom so that I can’t avoid it and “forget” about working out. You can take live on demand classes or, you can spin to a pre-recorded class.  (They are exactly like the live classes.)  I always do a pre-recorded class so I can just start exercising whenever it’s convenient for me.  My goal is to spin 2-3 days a week, but sometimes it’s hard to find the motivation when you are up at various times throughout the night with one of the three kids…it’s always something.  I’m still nursing, so I’m not sure if my body will let me lose the last 10 pounds until I stop, but I’m going to try and at least lose 5 of the last 10.

At the end of the day, it really comes back to your diet and right now I’m craving salted dark chocolate all day every day… It’s super tough to say no to my cravings because nursing makes me crazy hungry.  I’m curious if anyone else gets that way when they nurse.  What success stories do you have when nursing and trying to get back in shape?  Please share!
