Valentino Dupe Comparison
Ok everybody, I was super excited when I saw these Valentino dupes restocked this week and so I wanted to share with you a comparison guide in case you were thinking about buying some. First off, I have to say that I have a little bit of a rockstud obsession. I LOVE Valentino shoes because they are edgy and comfortable. I bought my first pair a couple years and I’m so glad I did. The Valentino dupes are almost exactly like the real thing, you really can’t tell…but I’ll let you be the judge. I’m normally not a fan of buying knock offs, but Valentino shoes are expensive and if you don’t plan on wearing them a lot it’s a hefty price tag to pay for a single pair of shoes. Plus, they come in so many different colors you may not want to spend $900 on a pair of pink flats you wear occasionally. So, that’s why the dupes might be for you 😉
In the above pictures the real Valentino shoes are the black heels and the nude flats. The dupes are the nude heels and the white flats.
Size: I wear in 8 in flats across the board. My nude Valentino flats above are an 8.5, BUT I recommend getting a 9 if you are buying Valentino. I have a 9 in my Valentino black flats and they are perfect. The 8.5 are fine, but I need to get them stretched a little bit for more room. So, if you are buying Valentino flats I recommend going up an entire size. If you are buying the Valentino heels, just go up a 1/2 size. My heels are an 8.5 and are super comfy because they have no back to them so there isn’t any rubbing. If you are buying the dupes, you just need to go up a 1/2 size in the flats and the heels. My Valentino dupes are an 8.5 in the flats and the heel and they are perfect.
Comfort: I wore my black Valentino flats in Charleston last week and I walked around for about 8 hours in them. They are so comfy and if you have the correct size, you won’t have any complaints. When I bought the correct size in my Valentino flats I didn’t have to break them in at all. However, when I bought the 8.5 (which I need to get stretched) it took some breaking in because I bought them too small.
