Throwing a Cinco de Mayo family style party is a piece of cake. I love Mexican food, but Cinco de Mayo is different now that I’m a mom. I love a good excuse to throw a festive party; so my sister and I threw together an easy Cinco de Mayo family style party. While we were meal planning for a farm weekend, the idea popped into our head. All you need for this party is some yummy guacamole, an easy enchilada dish and a pinata. Well, and some sangria or a margarita 😉
Easy enchiladas – Pinterest is FULL of recipes…so good and some bad. However, my sister found the MOST delicious one that is my husbands favorite. If my husband loves it that much, then it most be delicious. Click here for the recipe that will change your life. The only change to this recipe is that we don’t use jalapeños and we use flour tortillas instead of corn.
Guacamole – I have my own guac recipe that is a crowd please. I did a post on it last year, so click here to check it out. I was pregnant during this shoot, haha.
Cheese dip – Don’t forget to add this to your menu because it’s delicious drizzled over your burrito. I don’t need to sell you on this, we all know we eat Mexican for the cheese dip!!!
Margarita/Sangria – I haven’t made this yet, but this looks delicious. If y’all have a yummy drink you love will you put your recipe or a link in the comment section? Thanks!!
