Easy Turkey Chili Recipe
- 3 lbs Ground Turkey
- 1 Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 1 Red Onion, Diced
- 2 Large Cans Diced Organic Tomatoes
- 1 Tbs Olive Oil
- 1 Can Each- Black, Cannellini, Kidney Beans (Dark + Light)
- 3–4 Tbs Chili Powder
- Cilantro
- Place oil in a large cast iron post over medium high heat. Add in onions and saute for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add in ground turkey and break up the meat; cooking until done. Next add in chili powder. Depending – I’ll add in cumin, oregano or cayenne pepper!
- Next add in tomatoes, kidney beans and brown sugar. Bring this to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes. Don’t forget to taste and adjust seasoning with salt! Garnish with cilantro.
- If your chili thickens up too much, use some low sodium chicken stock to get the desired consistency.
