Make Homemade Popcorn!
Today I wanted to show you guys a fun and easy way to make homemade popcorn! I bough my first Stir Crazy when I was 17 and believe it or not it just died a couple months ago – yes it lasted 18 years! That machine had been through more moves than I can tell and was used frequently. Oddly enough, it is a must have in my kitchen.
This is the new model, and it is just as easy and reliable. My kids love watching it pop, and it is such a fun kitchen activity to do with them. And I love that it is so easy to clean! Popcorn is probably the most fun type of healthy snack, and there are so many variations. You can add any kind of oil (avocado, coconut, or butter) but my go-to is always olive oil and Himalayan salt. Make sure to be generous with the olive oil 😉 You can also add in flavored olive oils like this one here or here.
The Stir Crazy is perfect for a movie night with the kiddos, a date night in, prego cravings or just a Netflix binge! Pre-packaged, already-popped popcorn seriously doesn’t compare to making it fresh yourself. This way also lets you avoid the microwave but will still make your kitchen smell amazing!
