Sunroom Decor Inspiration

Today I’ll be sharing the sunroom decor inspiration you need – and giving you some tips and tricks from my recently decorated sunroom! As you can see, I chose a neutral palette with a lot of fun textures, patterns, and details. I wanted the windows to be the biggest statement in the room – I absolutely love how large they are and how much light they bring in!

When it comes to styling your sunroom, here are some tips I follow when I design every space:

  1. Have an antique in every room: In this room the antique is my dining table. Balancing out a room with an antique or two is always a go-to when I’m decorating. Doing so can soften some modern pieces and brings some character into the room. I thought this table was absolutely stunning, and the details are to die for!
  2. Plants always: Plants are a great way to accessorize a room – and personally, mine are fake. Bringing a bit of green and some nature into a space is super important to me. Especially in a sunroom! Whether they are big or small, plants can add that finishing touch you are looking for to make a room feel complete and lived-in.
  3. Great art: Since my windows take up most of my wall space, I added one large piece of art over the fireplace mantel. I like big, bold pieces!
  4. Lighting statement: How great is this piece?! I love that is such a bold statement and adds a modern twist to the room to contrast some of my more traditional pieces.

I always get a lot of questions about our windows in the sunroom. These are metal windows and they completely make the room! Last summer I had UV film applied to the glass to keep the heat out and to protect my furniture. If y0u notice your floors and windows getting bleached by the sun, I totally recommend getting UV film!

I sourced my pieces from the following places in Atlanta:

Mrs Howard: coffee table, fig leaf trees

Acquisitions: couch, chairs, vases on table, gold lamps

Joseph Konrad: gold lamps, console table lamp and end tables

Gregg Irby Art Gallery – The Fox Hunt by Emyo painting above the fireplace

Mathew’s Furniture – gold light fixture

Huff Harrington Home: green pillows on couch and antique dining table

B.D Jeffries – console table
