The Loveliest Looks of Summer Tour

I am so happy to announce that I’m participating in the Loveliest Looks of Summer Tour hosted by Summer Adams & A Blissful Nest. We will all be sharing how we’ve added touches of summer to our home decor – and of course some summer fashion. We all have different perspectives, so I know you will find some new summer inspiration on this tour.  Scroll to the bottom of this post to see all of the bloggers!

To bring a little Summer into my home I decided to style my kitchen for the season. I’ve been loving blue and white this Summer so I brought in these beautiful blue and white jars. I placed them in front of my windows to highlight them – and honestly they look great on their own. However, you can style them with fresh flowers for a party to spice things up a bit. Don’t they look stunning?!

Full disclosure – I had these flowers in my dining room (they are fake!) and wanted to see how they would look in these jars. Turns out they worked perfectly. Fake flowers are a great long-term option that you can carry through the other seasons as well.

To continue this theme throughout my kitchen, I filled this blue and white antique pitcher with some oak leaf hydrangeas from my yard. I thought it looked great but at the same time was so effortless! The fern on my island is real as well. Next, for a pop of color, I threw in this large jar of clementines. I love the bright orange mixed with blue! Also, having this jar out only encourages my kids to eat more fresh fruit!
