Designing Spaces: A New Way To See Your Space

Designing Spaces

It’s a new year, and you have big plans for changes! I get a lot of questions about design in the house, especially after I share a space transformation. This fresh start to the year is the perfect time to introduce something that has been on my mind for a while! Enter Designing Spaces. I want you to submit images of a space in your home that has been a particular challenge to you. Each week during the month of January I will select a new room. If your room is selected, you will need to send over measurements and I will get to work from there. Picking out everything from light fixtures to furniture and decor.

There are a bunch of changes coming to the blog, and I can’t wait to share them with you all. Some are still under wraps, but this series is definitely one I am excited about. I love decorating and hope this will be a big help to you as you tackle a new project. It’s easy to become overwhelmed by a space and to allow a blank canvas to get to you. Let me help you recreate a space in your home that you’ll want to keep coming back to!

Interested in submitting your room? Send me an email with your images to jess@jcathell.com. I’ll be selecting a new room each week and will contact you for more information if you’re chosen!

    Hi,

This room is so perfect! I am completely in heaven with the color pallet. Can you please share the source for the rug? I believe that is a jumping off point for a room I am working on. Thanks so very much. You are quite talented.

Hi, can you tell me where you purchased your leopard pillows/fabric? Your living room is just beautiful! I need those pillows. 😉 Thank you!

The fabric is from a showroom at ADAC and then they were custom made!

Hi – I love this room. I would also love to know the source of the natural base layer rug you used? I am looking for one that I can have custom made to cut out around my fire place. I would also love to know where you got the blue couch! I love the color.
    Thank you so much!

Hi there! Thank you so much!! The rug and couch were custom made for this space, but I’ll see if I can find the info on that. I know the rug can be made at most flooring companies, and they’ll cut it in to fit the room perfectly. They’ll just come out and measure!

My fiance and I are looking to purchase our first home in 2022. This will be my first time decorating a home. I love your page! I appreciate your use of color. The trend seems to be all white everything and to me, that lacks style. I absolute love how you mix bold colors yet still make the room look inviting, modern and classy. I am keeping an eye out for more bedding inspiration!
