What to Wear in Mallorca, Spain + The Best Luxury Hotels, Beach Clubs & Restaurants

May 30

There’s something about Mallorca that feels like the ultimate European summer destination. The combination of dramatic coastlines, quiet luxury hotels, charming villages, beautiful beach clubs, and long Mediterranean lunches has made this Spanish island one of the places sitting firmly at the top of my travel list.

While I haven’t made it there just yet, I’ve spent a lot of time researching Mallorca lately while planning future family travel, and I finally decided to pull together all of the spots that continue to come highly recommended over and over again. Think of this as less of a strict itinerary and more of a curated guide filled with beautiful places to stay, beach clubs worth visiting, restaurants to save, chic shopping areas, and experiences that feel very “European summer.”

I also designed several outfit boards inspired by the Mallorca aesthetic — effortless linen sets, raffia accessories, chic sandals, elevated swim looks, and easy pieces you can wear from beach lunches to sunset dinners.

If Mallorca is also on your travel wishlist, here’s everything I would currently save.

The Mallorca Vibe

More than anything, Mallorca embodies a very specific kind of style and way of life. Quiet luxury. Coastal European summer. Linen dresses that catch the breeze. Raffia bags carried to long lunches that somehow turn into all-afternoon affairs. Oversized sunglasses, salty hair after a swim, lazy boat days exploring hidden coves, and late dinners overlooking the sea as the sun disappears into the Mediterranean. Whether you’re planning a trip this year or simply dreaming about one, Mallorca feels like the kind of place that inspires not only where you want to go, but how you want to live while you’re there.
