A Fall Style Guide to Aspen : 11 Chic Outfits for a Luxe Western Getaway

Aug 22

I have been fortunate enough to visit Aspen a couple of times now. Not enough to claim I have tried every restaurant, every shop, or every hotel the town has to offer, but enough to tell you this with confidence — I have never had a bad meal there. I am not headed back this fall, but here is where I want to eat and stay the next time I go, plus a few fabulous outfit boards if you are the one heading out west this season.

Where We Have Stayed

The first trip, we stayed at The St. Regis, and the second time around we chose Hotel Jerome. Both were wonderful in their own right, but for our next trip, I have my sights set on The Little Nell. I have heard nothing but incredible things, and it is at the very top of my list.

Where We Ate

This is where Aspen truly shines. A few standouts from our trips so far:

Every single one of these was incredible. And for next time, Casa Tua is the restaurant I most want to try — it has become my number one must-visit.

What to Do Between Meals

Aspen is not just about where you stay and where you eat. There are so many beautiful stores and places to simply roam the town. My recommendation — take a bike ride through town, and do not miss hopping on the gondola. The views are worth every minute.

If You Are Headed Out West This Fall

While Aspen will have to wait for me until next time, if you are the one packing for a western trip this season, I have a few beautiful outfit boards to shop. A touch of French suede is really having a moment this season — think rich textures and warm, layered patterns that feel right at home in the mountains.

This is a good place to start planning your western vacay. Enjoy!
