The Best Party Pants for the Holidays

Imagine this scenario: you’ve been running around all day with your kids and doing errands. You get home in enough time to add a little oomph to your hair and do your make-up for a Holiday party you have that evening. You start putting on your dress and realize this event is partly outside. Being cold at a party sounds miserable, and the outfit you picked to wear is a dress. What do you do? This scenario happened to me a few weeks ago and I immediately thought “I cannot be the only person who dreads being cold and wants to be warm!” If you are like me, I have solved our problem by pulling the best party pants for the holidays!

Who says pants can’t be as formal as a dress? They absolutely can, and these looks prove it. First, I add sophistication to a look by including luxurious fabrics like feathers, velvet, sequins, and rhinestones. Second, I bring in different colors and decide if this outfit needs a pop of color, something visually interesting, or if I need to calm the look down. Third, I look at the volume of the pieces. An outfit has to compliment the proportions of your body by accenting your best feature and balancing the volume of the clothing. You will elevate your look and turn heads at any holiday party you attend if you use these tricks!
