Wanderlust Series: Boston, Massachusetts

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! This Wanderlust Series is set in Boston, Massachusetts. Not only is Boston a trendy and great place to go for a girls’ trip, it is also a historical location with so much of our nation’s history. This city truly offers something for everyone! I hope you enjoy these activities, trendy restaurants and hotels that I recommend for your stay in Boston!

The best time to visit Boston is from May to November. The late spring and summer months bring beautiful weather (temperatures reach nearly 70 by May and hover in the low 80s by July). Fall in Boston is picturesque, with Harvard University, MIT, and Boston University’s campuses trimmed in foliage and temperatures slipping into the low 70s in September and low 60s in October. While in Boston, you will notice six central neighborhoods around Boston: The Seaport, North End, South End, Cambridge, Back Bay and Fenway. I have listed a few places in most of these neighborhoods so can get a real feel of this beautiful city.

I didn’t provide a full itinerary for each day, but rather activities, hotels and restaurants. Let me know your favorite spots or if you have been to any of these places! As always, make sure you receive my newsletters! I send newsletters with each blog post so you can get a heads up on shopping the looks. Each outfit is loaded to LTK, but you will get to shop the post first! Click here to sign up. You will see some new content this year and I don’t want you to miss out. Connect with me on Instagram and Pinterest, please tell me what is happening in your life and your style needs. In case you missed it, check out the last post, How to Achieve the Perfect Coastal Grandmother Aesthetic!

So fun to see from a visitor’s perspective! Lots of great options from others on the IG posts. Boston resident for 15+ years (in the city, not the ‘burbs). Quincy Market is a big skip for me, if you want the local food hall vibe in the same area walk over to @bostonpublicmarket at the Haymarket station or walk in towards the center of the Financial District and visit @highstreetplace food hall.
For North End, Mamma Maria is picturesque but there are restaurants I like more (haven’t been in years so maybe I’m missing out!), but I do like Carmelina. The battle of the cannoli is usually Mike’s v. Modern, but hot tip walk over to Bova.
You left the oldest neighborhood off your list- Charlestown! Biased because that’s mine, but absolutely enjoy the waterfront & Navy Yard, the Monument, and our handful of great restaurants like Dovetail, Monument, Waverly, Brewer’s Fork to name a few. Warren Tavern is a classic for a beer and history.
Have fun! I could write tons mow suggestions but the fun is
