The Edition VIII

Oct 12

Hello, lovely readers! Welcome to my latest edition of The Edition, where I share my recent adventures, new purchases, and must-have beauty finds—all curated just for you.

It’s been a busy start to the school year! We added a new member to the family at the end of summer — sweet little Gus, who came all the way from California to join us. He’s a comfort cavapoo (his mom is a cavapoo and his dad is a goldendoodle) and will be around 18–20 pounds full grown. Henley is getting along so well with him, and in just a couple more months, we’ll officially be through the crazy chewing stage — yay!

You’ll see below some of the cute little items I’ve ordered for him.

Between puppy life and back-to-school routines, I’ve been sneaking in a ton of audiobooks. The Silent Patient was incredible — it took a huge turn I didn’t see coming. No matter how many thrillers I listen to, I’m always surprised by the twists!

Travel has slowed down a bit after a packed summer. We took the kids to Aspen for Labor Day weekend, and it was absolutely perfect — the weather, the scenery, everything. We’d love to make it a yearly trip.

Right after that, I headed to Dallas for the LTK Conference, and then straight to New York City for Fashion Week. It’s always one of my favorite times of the year — the events are amazing, but honestly, it’s the girl time that makes it so special.

Just last week, my mom and I took a quick trip to Birmingham for the Antique & Garden Show. I adore the little town of Mountain Brook — it’s so charming and if I ever moved somewhere new, that spot would be high on the list.
