10 of the Most-Wearable Trends for Fall 2023
Trends. Some are wonderful, and some need to die quickly. We all know that some recent trends only work on certain body types or are only appropriate for certain ages. Seeing people try to wear trends that don’t work for them makes me mad, so I have researched the latest fall fashion trends and found the ten most wearable trends, regardless of your age or body type! And good news, you can incorporate these trends into your fall wardrobe easily and quickly this upcoming season!

SLINGBACK SHOES | JEANS | JACKET | TOP | EARRINGS | BAG | SUNNIES | POWDER | LIP
Trend 1 is a shoe trend, the slingback. This beautiful shoe typically has a lower heel, so it is easier to wear. A pair of black or brown slingbacks will be great closet staples – they can be worn with pants, skirts, and dresses.. the options are endless! As far as shoe trends go this year, this may be my favorite. I am to a point where heels need to be functional and comfortable, and the high stilettos are not cutting it anymore.

Trend 2 is a great leather jacket. Leather jackets are so versatile you can change the vibe of a look with a jacket so quickly. This style has a Peter Pan collar and darling buttons, so it’s a classic look. Other leather pieces can be incorporated into your look – I recently shared a leather skirt that is a modern twist on midi skirts. I also love leather pants or coated pants to add visual interest into a look.
BALLET FLATS | SKIRT | TOP | JACKET | BELT | EARRING | BAG | SUNNIES | LIP | BLUSH
Trend 3 is another shoe trend: ballet flats. Ballet flats come in bold colors and can be simple or ornate designs. Make sure you get a pair that has enough support in the soles! Ballet flats can also mean mary janes style to me. They are flat and have a cute strap over the top of your foot for extra support.

Trend 4 is denim on denim. I know – it’s very easy to have horrible flashbacks of Britney and Justin in the early 2000s. However, we have come a long way. Pairing dark denim together can create a monochromatic and chic look. The most important thing about this new trend is keeping your proportion even. Meaning if you have wide-leg pants, make sure your top is more form-fitting. Or if you have a billowy top, make sure your skinny jeans are making an appearance.

Trend 5 is an oversized bag. This seems like a strong reaction to the mini-bag trend that took hold last year, but I’m glad big bags are back!

Trend 6 is the color red. I love this trend because red comes in so many shades that can complement different skin tones! You can jazz up your look in a big way by popping in red to any look. This could be a red trench coat, as seen on our recent post for Amal Clooney, or adding a red handbag.
MAXI SKIRT | TOP | JACKET | SHOES | EARRINGS | EYE SHADOW | LIP | BAG | SUNNIES
Trend 7 is a maxi skirt. Maxi skirts add that extra layer of warmth against the cold but also look so great with long boots or booties! I love the look of a silk maxi skirt and chunky knits, blending the cozy aesthetic with a formal fabric is intriguing to me.
MOD DRESS | JACKET | BOOTS | EARRINGS | BAG | SUNNIES | BRONZER | LIP
Trend 8 is calling out to my retro side; it’s a mod moment! You can just lean into a busy print but pair it with pieces that compliment the print and are solid pieces to balance out the look. This is where your personal style can shine with rich colors or animal print pieces! A classic closet staple to pair with a mod moment will be a black blazer.

Trend 9 is a top-handled bag. This bag trend is a chic, classic style and a proper bag for going out to be seen. This can be an investment piece, a beautiful Tory Burch bag would be used over and over this fall season.

Trend 10 is a slouchy bag. A lot of bag trends this season, but I love the diversity. Mix and match your mood and aesthetic with your bag for a different look. My favorite thing about a slouchy bag is you can get bright colors so they become statement pieces, or you can grab bags that will be timeless classics like the Louis Vuitton never full bag.
